Total Prepare is 100% Canadian owned and operated since 2012. All our employees are in Canada. All our legal, accounting and consulting services are from Canadian companies.  We are singularly focused on the Canadian market.  We actively seek out Canadian suppliers for as many products that align with the markets we serve. 

We have had the benefit of working with a broad range of institutions and communities. Each time we do there is shared learning and best practices that can be passed along. At Total Prepare we like to work collaboratively with our customers looking to prepare their community.  Whether you are tasked with maintaining plans and preparations already in place or starting at ground level, we can help.  We will meet you where you are and come along side of you and your team.

Public Education

At Total Prepare we believe that every project is an opportunity for shared learning. Whether is emergency kits for citizens, humanitarian kits for at risk community members or reception centers for evacuees. We can create custom literature, brochures or video or live presentations that can be included to further understanding and preparedness. By doing so we can help reduce stress to those in need.

RFQ's, Grant Proposals and Budget Requests

If you are gathering information for a grant proposal or planning a budget for the year ahead, we would be pleased to share options and solutions for your needs. Total Prepare happily follows whatever procurement process you have. From a broad RFQ or a competitive bid process our goal is to be your vendor of choice by price as well as a level of service and other value adds such as support for your staff and community.

Logistical Support

Total Prepare has our main warehouse on the west coast as well as a facility in Brampton Ontario. In many instances we can ship to you directly from the factory, saving you money and time.  Total Prepare can ship your orders to hundreds of individual households or one central location based on your needs. We have experience in shipping to every province and territory in Canada. The shipping companies we work with are hardworking and want to earn our business. This gets passed on to our customers in the way of pricing and excellent customer service.

Record Keeping and tracking

Total Prepare maintains records for all our customers.  Staff turnover can lead to loss of information and knowledge.  We can help with that. Total Prepare will also reach out to you when it is time to think about replenishing what you have purchased previously.

Emergency Food Rescue Program

With a 35% increase in visits to Canadian food banks between 2019 and 2022, it’s no wonder that some food banks are struggling to keep up. There is a limit to how far a dollar can be stretched, and between the pandemic, increased costs of living, and low social assistance rates, it’s no wonder many Canadians are turning to food banks to bridge the gap. In contrast, we at Total Prepare see many companies, government organizations, and individuals send thousands of expired emergency meals to the landfill for disposal every year.  We like to encourage all organizations with emergency food stores to donate any soon-to-expire food while it can still help others. It needs replacing anyway, why not use it to be a hero in your community? You keep food out of the landfill and put it in the hands of people who need it NOW.
